The Penguin Lessons

Tom Michell (Steve Coogan) is an English teacher who has gone flat, posted to a boys' school in Argentina in 1976 and counting the days until he can leave. Peter Cattaneo sets his story against a country sliding into violence, with Headmaster Buckle (Jonathan Pryce) running the school as if none of it were happening. A penguin ends up in Tom's care, and the friendship that follows starts to wear through a man who had stopped letting anyone matter.
