The People vs. Fritz Bauer

In late 1950s West Germany, a letter arrives from Argentina. Its writer is certain his daughter is dating Adolf Eichmann's son. Fritz Bauer (Burghart Klaußner), the state prosecutor, trusts almost no one in a judiciary still filled with former Nazis, so he takes the lead to Israel's secret service, a move that makes him a traitor. Lars Kraume follows Bauer and his young deputy Karl Angermann (Ronald Zehrfeld) as the older man tallies what that risk will cost him.
