The People We Hate at the Wedding

“Save the d̶a̶t̶e̶ hate.”

The distance between Alice (Kristen Bell), her brother Paul (Ben Platt), their mother Donna (Allison Janney) and their half-sister Eloise (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) has gone unexplained for years, and nobody at the table will say why. Then Eloise's wedding in England puts all four under one roof for the days before the ceremony. Claire Scanlon directs it as an ensemble comedy, cutting between the relatives so that each argument spills into the next.
