“Dream for the fences.”

Angel Macias (Jake T. Austin) is a boy in Monterrey, Mexico, with a strong arm and a team of kids who play ball in whatever space they can find. Working beside Enrique Suarez (Jansen Panettiere) and the rest of the Industrial Little League squad, William Dear follows them toward the 1957 Little League World Series. No team from outside the United States had ever won it, and the film makes that plain and simple.
