The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Charlie (Logan Lerman) writes letters to an unknown friend as he enters his freshman year. He falls in with Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller), two seniors who pull him into their orbit of late-night drives and midnight movies. Chbosky lets the camera linger on small moments, a song on the radio, a hand reaching across a seat, and shoots high school not as spectacle but as weather you move through.
