The Phantom of the Opera

An opera house is hit by a run of terrifying accidents and brutal murders, and the blood leads down into the caverns beneath the theatre. The Phantom (Julian Sands) lives there, a man raised by the creatures of the underworld, while Christine Daaé (Asia Argento) sings in the company above. Dario Argento adapts Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel, and what stays with you is the trail of blood running down toward the caverns.
