Fred (Noah Bean) wakes after an unprotected one-night stand with Mindy (Rachel Boston), a free-spirited woman he barely knows, and needs her to take both doses of the morning-after pill. So he pretends to be romantically interested and sticks beside her for twelve hours, making sure she swallows the second dose on time. J.C. Khoury follows them through one long day, where staying close to someone for the wrong reason starts to feel like real affection.
