Reodor Felgen (Frank Robert), a bicycle repairman in Pinchcliffe, wants to beat his old assistant Rudolf Blodstrupmoen, who stole one of his inventions and became a world racing champion. With his two assistants, Solan Gundersen (Kari Simonsen) and Ludvig (Toralv Maurstad), and money from the oil sheik Ben Redic Fy Fazan, he builds a car called Il Tempo Gigante. Ivo Caprino animates the three in stop-motion, a small crew working together on one stubborn idea.
