The Pink Panther Strikes Again

(1976)Directed by Blake Edwards103 min · PGComedy, Crime
“Why are the world's chief assassins after Inspector Clouseau? Why not? Everybody else is.”

Nobody at the asylum can say how Charles Dreyfus (Herbert Lom) got out, only that the former chief inspector is gone and Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers) is the one man on his mind. Blake Edwards sends Dreyfus after him with an elaborate scheme, while Clouseau bumbles through hotel lobbies in a fog of misplaced confidence. If Dreyfus succeeds, the wreckage of his patience ends with one clumsy inspector gone for good.
