The Piper

“This is what death sounds like.”

Woo-ryong (Ryu Seung-ryong) is a father crossing a country still raw from the Korean war, and all he wants is a place to settle with his young son. They stop in a remote village, where the Village chief (Lee Sung-min) and the other residents have their own reasons for being wary of strangers. Kim Kwang-tae lets the strange happenings close in on the village, and with them the danger to the boy Woo-ryong is trying to keep beside him.
