The Pirates of Blood River

“Ransacking a lost tropic island... for a fabulous idol of gold!”

Jonathon Standing (Kerwin Mathews) is a young man in a strict Huguenot settlement on the Isle of Devon in the 17th century, living under the eye of his father Jason (Andrew Keir). Captain LaRoche (Christopher Lee) and his pirates land on the island looking for treasure. The settlers hold to their faith, the raiders hold to nothing, and the film tests how long a belief lasts when someone armed is willing to take what he wants.
