The Pit and the Pendulum
“Betrayal cuts both ways!”
Francis Barnard (John Kerr) crosses sixteenth-century Spain to a seaside castle, where his sister has died and no one will say how. Roger Corman puts Francis in those candlelit halls, where each answer leaves him more uneasy, and he keeps asking.
