The Place

A man (Valerio Mastandrea) sits at the same table every day, and strangers come to ask him for what they want most. Ettore (Marco Giallini) and Chiara (Alba Rohrwacher) are among those who agree to his price, a task each must carry out. Paolo Genovese keeps the bargain between them: each wish is only granted if the person goes through with what he assigns.
