The Plague Dogs

“Escape to a different world...and share the adventure of a lifetime.”

Rowf (Christopher Benjamin) is a dog who has spent his life in an animal research laboratory, and Snitter (John Hurt) is a fox terrier whose brain has been operated on. When they escape into the English countryside, the rumour that they carry bubonic plague sends search parties and then soldiers after them. Martin Rosen draws the hills and lakes in soft watercolor and sets that gentleness against the cruelty of the place the dogs ran from.
