“Only The Lord Of The Dead Could Unleash Them!”

In a remote Cornish village, the local people are dying of an illness that no doctor can name. Sir James Forbes (André Morell) travels there with his daughter Sylvia (Diane Clare) to help his former student, Dr. Peter Tompson (Brook Williams), who is losing patients faster than he can bury them. Forbes is a stern, methodical man, and the squire's invitations, the hushed villagers and the unmarked graves all send him digging for a cause.
