The Plank

(1967)Directed by Eric Sykes55 minComedy
“You'll splinter your sides laughing at this classic of all comedies”

Two workmen, the Larger (Tommy Cooper) and the Smaller (Eric Sykes), set off with a single plank to deliver to a building site. Along the way they run into a policeman (Jimmy Edwards), a van driver (Graham Stark) and a man (Roy Castle) with a stack of boxes, and nobody speaks beyond a few mumbled sounds. All that rides on the job is a plank getting from one end of the trip to the other.
