The Platform

Goreng (Ivan Massagué) wakes in a cell on a floor of a tall concrete tower, paired with an old man, Trimagasi (Zorion Eguileor), who explains the rules. Each day a platform loaded with food drops through every level and stops for a fixed time at each, so whoever sits higher eats first and eats everything. Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia puts Goreng on a floor where little reaches the plate, and the monthly shuffle could send him anywhere.
