The Players Club

“Sometimes you're the player. Sometimes you're played.”

Diana "Diamond" Armstrong (LisaRaye McCoy) is a single mother juggling her child and her college tuition on money that never stretches far enough. When she meets two dancers from a nearby gentlemen's club, she decides stripping is the fast way to cover what she owes. Ice Cube, writing and directing his first feature, puts Diana in front of Dollar Bill (Bernie Mac) and the club's rules, and she starts to learn how much of herself the job will ask for.
