The Pleasure of Being Robbed

Eleonore (Eléonore Hendricks) moves through New York searching for what she's lost, and she takes it from strangers, from their bags, their pockets, their cars. Josh Safdie follows her from one small theft to the next, and none of it is hurried. Her few connections, with Josh (Josh Safdie) and with a boyfriend (Ariel Schulman), stay loose and unexplained, and she is never quite let in.
