The Plumber

“When your waterworks come back to haunt you!”

A plumber named Max (Ivar Kants) turns up at the campus apartment of Jill Cowper (Judy Morris) and says her bathroom needs repairs. He keeps coming back to fix things nobody asked him to fix, and her husband Brian (Robert Coleby) hardly seems to notice. Peter Weir keeps the camera in the cramped flat, where Jill stands in the bathroom doorway listening to the pipes.
