The Point

(1971)Directed by Fred Wolf74 minAnimation, Family, Fantasy, Adventure, TV Movie

In the Pointed Village, every person and every thing has a point on top of its head, and a law says it must be so. Oblio is the one round-headed boy, and Fred Wolf's cartoon follows him as he is banished from the kingdom, while a father (Ringo Starr) tells the story to his son at bedtime. It gets at what a point is for, and whether a person needs one to belong.
