The Polka King

“The greatest scandal in polka history.”

Jan Lewan (Jack Black) is a Pennsylvania polka bandleader with a loyal local following, a wife named Marla (Jenny Slate), and bigger ambitions than a band of his size can pay for. His plan to get rich shocks the fans who adore him and eventually lands him in jail. Maya Forbes plays the true story straight-faced, letting the polka, the sequins, and Jan's unshakable confidence do the work.
