The Pope of Greenwich Village

In 1984 Greenwich Village, cousins Charlie (Mickey Rourke) and Paulie (Eric Roberts) wait tables, and Paulie keeps getting them in trouble. When he hears of a sure thing at the track, they plan to steal $150,000 to place the bet. Stuart Rosenberg follows two men who think one big score will fix their lives, and the people who actually run the neighborhood do not let that kind of money go missing quietly.
