The Pornographer

Jacques Laurent (Jean-Pierre Léaud) made his name directing pornography in the 1960s, and after twenty years away he wants to direct again. His producer wants a harder, more explicit film than Jacques ever made, and Bertrand Bonello puts the two men on opposite sides of the same set. Meanwhile his son Joseph (Jérémie Renier), long estranged over the family trade, drifts toward political activism, and the fragile bond they have begun to rebuild is at risk.
