The Possessed

Bernard (Peter Baldwin) is a writer who returns in winter to the resort village he loves best. He arrives to news that a woman he was infatuated with has apparently killed herself. Luigi Bazzoni and Franco Rossellini follow him as he questions the villagers, among them Enrico (Salvo Randone) and Irma (Valentina Cortese), and his longing for the dead woman keeps pulling him back toward her.
