Why would an escaped inmate say Liu Li-Min's late wife is the reason he went to prison? Zhang Zheng-Yi (Edward Chen) holds the washed-up newscaster hostage and pleads his innocence, and Liu (Joseph Chang Hsiao-Chuan) agrees to reopen the murder case to clear her name. If Chen sends the two men through the case file together, and every new answer only widens the gap between what they find and what is true.
