The Power

“The darkest place is within...”

London in 1974, and the country is bracing for blackouts as trainee nurse Val (Rose Williams) reports for her first day at the crumbling East London Royal Infirmary. Most of the patients and staff have been moved elsewhere, so she is handed the night shift in a dark, nearly empty building, where a deadly secret is hidden in the walls. Corinna Faith keeps the camera close to Val and the corridors tight around her, so the dark reads as a physical presence.
