The Pregnancy Pact

“Teen pregnancy isn't always unplanned.”

At Gloucester High School in Massachusetts, a cluster of girls turns up pregnant in the same season, and the town starts asking why. Sidney Bloom (Thora Birch) and Sara Dougan (Madisen Beaty) are caught between a principal, a school nurse (Camryn Manheim) and a media crowd that wants an explanation. Rosemary Rodriguez, working from the 2008 story, treats it as a question of what teenage girls hope a baby will give them.
