The President's Barber

“A time when a bad haircut can get you killed.”

Seong Han-mo (Song Kang-ho) is a barber with a small shop, a wife, Kim Min-ja (Moon So-ri), and a young son, and he has no interest in politics. Then he is summoned to cut the hair of South Korea's dictator, Park Chung-Hee, and the whole family is drawn into the presidential circle. Lim Chan-sang tells it through the son's eyes across roughly twenty years, with a household's safety riding on one man's steady hands.
