The Prince of Egypt

(1998)Directed by Simon Wells, Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner99 min · PGAdventure, Animation, Drama, Family
“The power is real. The story is forever. The time is now.”

Moses (Val Kilmer) and Rameses (Ralph Fiennes) race chariots through the streets of Egypt as brothers, the sons of a pharaoh and a prince's equals in every game. Then Moses learns where he was born and who is enslaved to build the monuments around him, and the loyalty he owes starts to split. Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells draw the film as Stephen Schwartz's songs rise over Hans Zimmer's score.
