The Princess Diaries

“She rocks. She rules. She reigns.”

A woman with a crown-shaped brooch and a driver named Joe turns up in San Francisco with news that Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway), a shy, frizzy-haired fifteen-year-old, is the heir to the small European country of Genovia. Her grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Julie Andrews), has come to teach her how to walk, dress and talk like a princess. Garry Marshall follows Mia as she weighs the throne against the only life she has known.
