The Private Lives of Pippa Lee

“She lived many lives ― except her own.”

Pippa Lee (Robin Wright) is living through a slow unraveling she cannot name. Her much older husband, Herb (Alan Arkin), has moved them into a suburban retirement community, and the quiet there has started to unsettle her. Rebecca Miller adapts her own novel, and Pippa, looking back over her life, slides toward a nervous breakdown she never quite names.
