The Professional

Luka Laban (Borivoje Todorović) was a university professor until recently. He is now a bohemian writer in Belgrade's intellectual circles, and he makes no secret of his hatred for the Milosevic regime. Then he meets Teodor Kraj (Branislav Lečić), a stranger who knows every small detail of his life. The film treats the dissidents and the State Security Service as two sides of a single, long, bitter conversation.
