“An Evil Force has Declared War...”

The archangel Gabriel (Christopher Walken) comes back to earth to finish off the human race, a species he has despised for as long as heaven has been at war over it. He gets help from Izzy (Brittany Murphy), a suicidal teenager, while Valerie Rosales (Jennifer Beals) tries to protect a child in the way of his plans. Between the angel Danyael (Russell Wong) and the people he has sworn to guard, there is a trust that has to be built fast.
