The Punch Bowl

Dr. Johannes Pfeiffer (Heinz Rühmann) is a successful writer who was schooled entirely at home, and over drinks his friends tell him he missed the best part of growing up. So he enrolls at a small-town high school under the name Hans Pfeiffer, posing as a student, though Rühmann was already 42 when Helmut Weiss filmed it. Seated among the boys, he begins to learn what a classroom full of teachers, pranks and schoolyard rules has to give him.
