The Punisher

“If society won't punish the guilty, he will.”

Frank Castle (Dolph Lundgren), a veteran cop, wants the men who killed his family in a mafia car bomb, and he goes after them from the sewers beneath the city. His former partner Jake Berkowitz (Louis Gossett Jr.) is sure Castle survived the blast and is the vigilante hunting the mob bosses. Mark Goldblatt sets the war between the mafia and the Yakuza, with the innocent caught in the middle, around a man who believes only violence answers a crime.
