The Purge: Anarchy

“The New Founding Fathers of America invite you to celebrate your right to purge!”

Once a year, the government clears a twelve-hour window in which any crime, murder included, carries no punishment, and the Sergeant (Frank Grillo) heads out into it with a plan for revenge over his dead son. Instead he ends up shielding four strangers, among them Eva Sanchez (Carmen Ejogo), who have nowhere else to turn. James DeMonaco sets the film on one night in the open street, where ordinary people with money and weapons decide who is allowed to live.
