The Quartet

“A game of fascination and seduction”

Pierina Boschini (Glória Pires) and Teresa Gardone (Patricia Pillar) are two immigrant wives trying to make a living in the new world, each married to a man she shares the struggle with. Fábio Barreto follows the two couples as the unexpected love between Teresa and Massimo (Bruno Campos) starts to pull against every family and cultural tradition they know. Pierina watches it happen, and the film keeps asking what she is left holding.
