The Quiet Earth

“The End of the World is Just the Beginning”

Zac Hobson (Bruno Lawrence) wakes one morning after a top-secret experiment misfires and finds the world empty of people. Geoff Murphy follows him through a New Zealand where nobody answers, as Zac searches for anyone else, and Joanne (Alison Routledge) and Api (Pete Smith) are among those he might still find. Zac sits alone with the quiet he can't fill, a scientist with no one left to tell what he knows.
