The Quiet Ones

“A shocking experiment. An unspeakable evil.”

Professor Coupland (Jared Harris) pulls a few of his students out of the university and into a rented house, where he means to prove that poltergeists come from the human mind and not the dead. His subject is Jane Harper (Olivia Cooke), a young woman he keeps under constant watch, with cameraman Brian McNeil (Sam Claflin) filming every session. John Pogue stages the experiment inside that house and gives the characters almost nowhere else to stand.
