Nothing in Dom Chabol's job is meant to end in a win, yet he has quietly wanted to wear the yellow jersey for twenty years. In the summer of 1998, with the Tour opening in Ireland, Kieron J. Walsh follows Dom (Louis Talpe), a Belgian domestique in his late thirties, as his team drops him and his friend Sonny (Iain Glen) has no comfort to offer. Dom meets a young doctor, Lynn (Tara Lee), and starts getting used to the idea of an ordinary life.
