The Raffle

“Francesca is alone with a daughter and without a dime. But she's beautiful”

In Italy in 1991, a young widow named Francesca (Monica Bellucci) is deep in debt and running out of ways to pay it. Her answer is to put herself up as the prize in a raffle, with Cesare (Massimo Ghini) among those drawn to the idea. Francesco Laudadio follows her as a new love and the legal system close in, and the arrangement she thought would settle her money troubles puts everything she has left in doubt.
