The Rainbow Thief

Dima (Omar Sharif) is a petty crook who wants the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. He sets out to get it by befriending Prince Meleagre (Peter O'Toole), the heir to an enormous fortune who lives in a garbage dump. The two had shared the screen in Lawrence of Arabia, and here they play companions in a fable of friendship, with Christopher Lee in a brief role. Alejandro Jodorowsky directs from a script by Berta Domínguez D.
