The Reaping

“Thousands of years ago, there was a series of bizarre occurrences that many believe to have been the Ten Biblical Plagues. No one thought they could happen again. Until now.”

Katherine (Hilary Swank) was a missionary once, until her family died and her faith went with them. Now she travels to places where miracles are claimed and takes them apart, with her colleague Ben (Idris Elba) beside her. Stephen Hopkins sends her to a small Louisiana town where biblical plagues are spreading, and the question running underneath is whether a person who has stopped believing can still be made to.
