The Reckoning

“The truth shall come to light.”

A woman in a small English town is condemned to hang for witchcraft and murder, and no one who sentences her seems to doubt it. Nicholas (Paul Bettany), a priest on the run in the 14th century, has joined a troupe of travelling actors led by Martin (Willem Dafoe), and they drop their Bible plays to stage her crime instead. Paul McGuigan follows Nicholas as he sets out to learn what happened, and finds he cannot stop.
