The Red Baron

“Heroes rise. Empires fall. Legends endure.”

In the middle of the First World War, Manfred von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighöfer) joins the fighter pilots, men the soldiers in the trenches treat as cult heroes. They fly by a code of honour, with sportsmanlike conduct and knightly propriety. Nikolai Müllerschön follows Richthofen as he falls for Käthe (Lena Headey), a nurse, and begins to doubt that his own hero status is anything but deceptive.
