The Red Spectacles

“What dream are you welcoming?”

It is the summer of 1995, and Tokyo has entered the "Age of Cats," with the Kerberos police unit long since disbanded. Koichi Todome (Shigeru Chiba) comes back after three years abroad, the one member of the old squad who kept a promise to return, and finds a city he no longer recognizes. Mamoru Oshii sends him toward a young woman (Mako Hyodo) who claims to know his fate, and nothing here says he can trust her.
