The Red Squirrel

“A comedy full of youth, suspense and lies!”

Jota (Nancho Novo) is about to end his life when a motorcycle goes off a bridge in front of him, and he pulls the rider from the wreck. She is Lisa (Emma Suárez), and she remembers nothing, so Jota gives her a past: a lover, a shared history, memories that never happened. Julio Medem follows the lie as it grows, and the film keeps asking how much of any love is the story we are handed.
