“Truth matters”

In Washington, the US Senate hands Daniel Jones (Adam Driver) a sweeping study of the CIA's Detention and Interrogation Program, and he starts by reading the files. Scott Z. Burns follows him through the windowless work of cataloguing what the program did, while Senator Dianne Feinstein (Annette Bening) backs the effort. The film's closest bond is the one between Jones and Feinstein, two people trying to get the truth printed.
