The Return

Andrey (Vladimir Garin) and his younger brother Ivan (Ivan Dobronravov) have grown up in Russia with their mother and a father who exists only in an old photograph. One day he is simply there, a stranger asleep in their house, and with their mother's reluctant consent he takes both boys on a trip into the wilderness. Andrey Zvyagintsev gives the journey no safe way back, and the boys have to find out whether they can trust a man who wants to be obeyed.
